Models like the Kate or the Bee Beach present themselves as alternatives to the Mini Moke. And you have to give them one thing: at first glance, the resemblance can be confusing.
But on closer inspection, the differences are everywhere, and some of them are not merely stylistic. They are regulatory.
M1 approval: the difference that changes everything

- Their use is therefore structurally limited to the town and secondary roads

Key points: The electric Moke is type-approved Category M1, just like a car. A Category B driving licence is required from the age of 18, and all roads are open to traffic. Category L quadricycles, however, are still prohibited from using dual carriageways and motorways.
